Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate must have VMware knowledge along with Windows Experience.
- Working experience on Private and. Public cloud
- Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
- Good hands on command line of ESX.
- Have experience of managing large enterprise environment (5000+ virtual machines).
- Hands-on experience on VMware ESX and Virtual Center & vSphere
- Hands-on experience on HA & DRS. [High Availability & Distributed Resource Scheduling]
- Command line knowledge and advance troubleshooting experience.
- P2V, V2V, V2P migration knowledge.
- Experience in Hyper-V R2 (optional).
- Strong knowledge on Windows Operating System and Active Directory concepts.
- Good Understanding on DNS, DHCP, Firewall etc.
- Good Understanding of virtualization technologies.
- Windows Clustering, SQL DB and troubleshooting.
- Hardware knowledge on Dell server products including Blade environment.
- Install, Configure, troubleshoot experience on of Dell server hardware configuration and management.
- Good to have knowledge on Scripting.
- Should have hands on experience in tools like RVTool, Vfoglight.
- Basic administration on public cloud like Azure and AWS, which includes Virtual networking, firewalls, security groups, IP addresses.
Key Qualifications:
- Should be a graduate / hold a bachelors degree(B.E/B.Tech, MCA) .
- Minimum 4-5 years of relative experience in Windows and VMware
- Good to have at least 3-6 months of hands on experience in public cloud (AWS and Azure).
- Should be VMware certified.
- Flexible in work hours if required.
- Independently generates solutions based on analytical, technical skills and business knowledge.
- Able to collaborate effectively with Global teams, end users and inter-teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and presentation skills.
- Quickly learn, adapt and contribute.
- Proven ability to take the initiative and focus on customer service.
